God of War Comic book? Kratos as the new superhero?

Kratos, the Greek warrior in God of War game is now going to enter a new career as a comic book superhero. A God of War comic book is going to be launched in October. This will be a six-part series and will be released by DC/Wildstorm Comics.

It will be a 32-page color comic book costing $3.99.  Its written by Marv Wolfman;  the art is by Kevin Sharpe and the Cover is done by Andy Park.

The first comic will be set between GoW1 and GoW2. IGN did an exclusive interview with Marv Wolfman. Details are in this IGN article.
